Is playing volleyball hard to do? What are the basics?

I want to play volleyball for a team and i have 3 months before tryouts...yeah it was a spontaneous decision.

The basics aren't hard to learn, but they take time and effort to master. Practice is essential. The basics, I would say, are bumping, serving, setting, and spiking. Good luck with the tryouts.

It is not hard to learn the fundamentals, but working as a tem is where the difficulties come in

of course its hard to learn but if you want to play it great you have ti love that sport like i do a really important thing to get achieved is your serves! that is really important!! on your servers swing trough and dont stop after u hit it swing al the way trough and hit ur thigh and remeber to swing fast!! use ur legs step in for the ball that helps! and one more thing that really helped me is keep ur wrist stiff and hard that really helps :]

i'll be frank, volleyball is difficult to play. you need to be good at all skills to be a good player. sagging in one skill will be a hindrance at the higher levels. but don't fret, practicing will make it easier to be good. some of the basics are passing, setting, serving, blocking and digging. by practicing you can achieve your full potential.

Im trying out for my 8th grade V-ball team next yr. and I have the rest of 7th grade and the Summer to pratice No, Volleyball I think is not hard to play. Sometimes we play it in P.E Ive  Never  been on a V-ball team before and I Hope i make it. Just pratice now and you will be a pro by your tryouts. The Bacis- Sereve  Overhand, Underhand
