Is ponds moisturizer a good choice for damaged skin?

hi, I recently tried proactive and sadly it damaged my skin pretty badly. I now have irritated itchy dry flakey skin. Would Ponds moisturizer be able to hydrate my skin?

maybe you should try vaseline. it works for me.

olay is the best moisturizer.... but dont moisturize too much or you skin will stop making oil.... your skin tries to balance the ph on its own and proactive can dry you out so much that your skin creates more oil and in turn breaks you out.... you need exfoliate first then moisturize just be careful and not put alot on before bed because that is when your skin repairs itself

no do not use it, you can get lanolin at a marine supplie  store, use that and allovera,

i had really dry skin and not wanting to buy the most expensive brand i got ponds. i must say i love it! it really rehydrated my skin =]

Ponds is a great moisturizer.  I've been using it for years. If you have really dry skin it can work miracles.  Try it and if you don't like it you can always try something else.
