Is portaventura in spain still a universal studios. its not on the universal website? is it just 1 park or 2?

When you plug in "Universal Studios Port Aventura" into Google (the name of the Universal Park at PortAventura (web: http://www.portaventura.es ) you get PortAventura as the first search result so.... but.... when you go to the PortAventura website and type in UNIVERSAL into the search bar you get "0" results. Odd. Yet on the Barcelona.com page at http://www.barcelona.com/barcelona_direc... they detail the "Universal Mediterranea" park.

I would send them an email (or call) to ask definitively if you don't get the "Answer" here.  It's my first guess that no, Universal no longer exists.
