Is posting up a flyer in my local library safe?

Well im hoping to do to to local jobs in my neighborhood like cleaning and that kind of stuff. I was wondering if you think putting up flyers is a good and safe idea?

My library won't let people post this kind of thing but I've seen this sort of thing in grocery stores.  Just be careful and list only a telephone number.  People in my area put fliers in mail boxes (against the law).  I don't know how many jobs they generate.  Try to get a reference someone could check with to find out if you are legitimate and capable.  If you know any people in your neighborhood, ask them for leads, too. Maybe offer a special rate for the first time, but that could let some people take advantage and not call you back.

I would say yes definantly as long as you know the area that you're posting in. Also just put your name and number down. Additionally, make sure to check with the library staff to make sure that they don't have a posting procedure, which if you don't follow could cause your sign to be torn down.

As long as you know the area, and you only put your telephone number on there, you should be fine. I would hold off on putting your address on there for safety purposes.
