Is prague a good place to go on holiday?

im 27 and my girlfriend is 24 and we are thinking about going on holiday to prague in the czech rep, would it be worth while and what would the weather be like at the end of september

Prague is a fantastic city, wonderful, beautiful buildings. Historically interesting sites. Nice people, great night life, if you like that. Prague is absolutely the most interesting capital in Europe and that is just not only my own opinion.

It´s more than worth while to go there, the weather should still  be just fine at the end of September (if it´s not raining of course, let´s hope not).

Holidaying in Prague is such a fantastic idea - its capital is breathtaking.

* Prague Castle/Pražský hrad

* Charles Bridge/Karlův most

* (The) New Town/Nové Měs****.>
* Wenceslas Square/Václavské náměstí - in around Old Town

* National Theatre/Národní divadlo

* Vinohrady

* Lesser Town/Jewish Quarter (Josefov)

* Old Town Square/Staroměstské náměstí where Orloj, the astro. clock is.

A lot to see/do in a wonderful city.

Weatherwise, it should be great, not hot but might be cold or a little.

Prague is a great place to visit. It's a popular tourist destination so the tourist infrastructure is very good. There are concerts in many of the cathedrals, just about every night, and food is both good and cheap. You can walk just about everywhere you would want to go.

The weather in September is fantastic.

It is very nice, I am going there with my family in mid-August and we are really looking forward to it. In the end of September the weather will probably be in the 50s or 60s. It is a nice place!

Prague is one of the most beautiful cities in eastern Europe....Definitely worth a visit!

As to the weather, that is always a question of luck... Prague is on the same latitude as Penzance in Cornwall, or Frankfurt in Germany, so the weather would be similar...

September is usually a good month to travel, summer is not quite over, but the higher temps. have ceased...and the tourist crowds have reduced...

Yeah, I think that Prague is actually a wonderful place to go for holiday. When I was there, I think it was around Sept actually, maybe around Oct, somewhere between there and it was rainy most of the time i was there, so that kind of sucked. But other than that, it was awesome.  I would also take a day trip to Brno... its about an hour or so by train and its really cool.  They have a neat prison up on the hills of the city. I heard its haunted... which is cool.  Enjoy your trip where ever you go!
