  1. I have asked this question to my Local Council and they say a child does not have to go to school until the term after their fifth birthday and this applies all over Great Britain, so no preschool is not compulsory in england. it is a personal choice and dont let anyone push you into making a choice you dont feel is right.

  2. no they can just start school at 4/5 years old

  3. No, it can be difficult to book and get a place I think. Good luck

  4. no a child does not by law in England have to go to school until they have had their 5th birthday, but they usually start soon after they are 4 depending on where they live

  5. i don't think it is compulsory, but if you can get a place it helps the child when they start school, even 1-2 days a week would be helpfull

  6. Definitely not.  Its up to you, and sometimes it dosn't make much difference whether they've been or not.  If they go, you may be expected to help out. Its one way of meeting people.
