  1. No, that's why it's called " PreSchool".

    In Ohio I have known people to skip grades so appearently no grade is required but at some point you are expected to be in school.

    The thing is I have talked to people that didn't even go to school until High School in Ohio because of their family's believes or because they were farmers.

    Added:  Not to mislead you but there are some test required.  So even if you skip grades you have to pass these test aimed at certain grades.  I think they are 4th grade, 6th grade, 9th grade and 10th grade but they kept changeing them and adding them. So for all I know at this rate they may be 1st, 4th, 9th and 12th.


  2. some places in Ohio isn't even mandatory for kinder. so yea not for preschool.=D

  3. No, I don't know any state that has mandatory preschool.  Even kindergarten is optional in most places.

  4. No. I live in Ohio and I never had preschool. It is optional. If you have a shy kid I would put them in preschool tho.
