  1. preschool  is hard i say first grade

  2. i take early childhood classes. and like you english is not my first language. i been in the program for one year and i love it!. if you are not sure about teaching you can always open your own daycare center.

  3. Well I suppose you can teach Math or other instead of English well i had trouble with English too when i came here.  Sorry I can't provide any useful sites to give out

  4. You can look into ESL classes for being with children in your language. Or emphasize to an employer that you speak another language. I know english is hard to learn as a second language, I would take a class to brush up on my english if I were having problems with it. It will help you in the long run. Also it will help establish better relationships with the parents as well.

    Good Luck!

  5. What is your first language?  Most cities of half a million or more in this country (USA) have preschool programs or once-a-week schools for children of immigrants or children adopted from other countries in the language of whatever country it is.  Use the internet or people from the university in your area to find the "Russian club" or "Chinese Society" or whatever and contact the membership for more information.  You can get experience for an North American/British resume while taking whatever language classes you need in such a school.  Also, many people like to have a bi-lingual nanny for their children.  Being a nanny is very different from being a teacher, but again, it's a good way to build your new resume while taking English courses.

  6. I think you are on the right patch. just take up some English courses to raise your confidence.

  7. You should be able to model proper speech and grammar to children that are really, learning English themselves, but this doesn't preclude you from being a teacher.  You will have a lot to offer and teacher students coming from a diverse background.

You could also look into alternative pre-schools where speaking a foreign language will be seen as a plus, at least until you are able to improve your command of English grammar.

Perhaps start off as a teacher's aid where your skills will be more valuable and your English less of an issue.
