Is president bush a good man?

  1. I consider him one.  I think his policies have been monumental failures, and he has surrounded himself in very shady people (most notable Cheney); but I think he is a good person.

    I've always believed that he WANTS what is best for America, but has no idea how to do it.  And he gets advice from those who are out for their own power.  Bush can see the good in various policies; such as when the Patriot Act does allow the government to catch terrorists.

    But he doesn't see the bad in those policies; like when the Patriot Act allows the government to invade citizens' privacy and arrest those who have nothing to do with terrorism or even crime in general, but just said the wrong thing.  And its because his advisors "protect" him from seeing those bad things; because it helps them maintain control through Bush.

    But Bush is honestly out for the good of America; I just don't believe he is capable of seeing the whole picture on anything and that is why his policies are always such failures.
