Let's see: The meme "church of global warming" has enjoyed some popularity as of late, implying that liberals are dogmatically devoted to the idea of global warming.

But, they have been worshipping at the "church of trickle down economics" for decades and are quite dogmatically devoted to it, and seemingly all problems in society and especially the economy have "government intervention" at their root.

Another example, they accuse us of criticizing Palin because we're "afraid" but they are obviously terrified of Obama because they have been dedicated to saying anything and everything to tear him down for months.

They accuse us of deifying Obama but they put Reagan up on a pedestal as some sort of enlightened demigod as to how a government should work, not to mention Ron Paul's supporters!!!

They accuse us of not loving America but their entire ideology revolves around only looking after themselves and they hate paying taxes and they hate it when the government does things to fulfill it's constitutional duty of promoting the general welfare.

And so on. Some might call it hypocrisy but I think of it more as projection because I think that subconsciously they are looking at aspects of themselves they are most uncomfortable with and projecting that aspect onto others. That way if we call them out on their BS it is easily reduced to a shouting match and it kind of devalues both sides of the argument.

What do you think?
