Question:

Is psycology a reliable science or has it always violated common sense?

...I know there is a place for it-but don't ya think "over analysis"is a bad thing?

  1. science is probable , it is never 100% accurate. We rely on the fact if its a high probability of something that can be considered un/true. like newtons first law of inertia is 99% probable :) and i dont think anyone would say it was untrue

    however, sigmund freund was on cocaine (or something) when he wrote about his thoughts x_x

    but we're always skeptical anyways, because things are so mysterious

    Psychology is research-based, reviewed, and published.

  3. Psychology is a social science. Social sciences differ from the more "hard" sciences in fundamental ways; however, it is the methodology used for inquiry that qualifies something as one or the other. Since psychology uses the scientific method for inquiry, it is rightfully classified a science.
