  1. no the best teachers are at private schools mainly because the kids are easier to handle there are smaller classes and less bullying

  2. Depends on how you think of it. If you just want to cruise through school, then I guess public. But if you really care about education then private.

  3. i think it most definitely is

it gives you a sense of the real world and is less confined and sheltered than private schools.

also, people seem to receive the same education if not more than private schools and achieve better in life itself.

and just a not-often-heard fact, more crimes happen in private schools. the reason we don't hear about them more often is because they don't tell the media. they want to retain their good ratings and such; so not many bad things are brought to the media's attention about private schools

    hope this helps

    good luck =]

  4. people in private school are all stuck up and bitchy, people in public school are normal and live in the REAL world.

Instead of a little fake private school fantasy.

  5. Well, it's free.....

but as far as the education itself (money aside), private school education is in general probably better, mostly because of the much larger amount of resources (and attention) available to each student

  6. honestly, i think public education can be just as good as private. you will only get a good education if you put the effort in, regardless of whether you go to a public school or private school. on NYU's website, it says that over half of it's freshman class attended public high schools, so going to private school does not always mean you are guaranteed better opportunities. just work hard no matter what school you go to.

  7. Private education is way much better..The teachers make their best efforts to get a better reputation for the school, they take pride in what their mission is and usually they are not so inhumanly pressed as public school teachers.

The pupils have better manners and respect.

  8. I was recently reading a series of articles about this, and the answer they gave was no.  According to the articles, private universities usually have a more diverse pool of thinking than public (state) schools, which tend to have an extreme liberal leaning.  Even if you have liberal views, the professors at public universities seem more likely to spend class indoctrinating students with their own personal agendas, rather than encouraging individual thinking and actual learning and exchange of knowledge.  At private universities, there is usually a more even, balanced spectrum of ideas, and the professors tend not to force them on their students.  I have experienced both private and public education, and I can certainly second this.  I prefer professors who teach class materials to those who would rather rant about current politics during lecture time.

    Hope this helps!

Oh! I apologize if your question pertained to high school/grade school levels, I assumed you meant university/college level! Sorry...
