Is purple eyeshadow ugly?

Question

I have blue-greenish eyes and I like the eyeshadow on me but My mom doesn't like it? Any advice? Should I get a different color?

I like purple eyeshadow but if you have blue-greenish eyes then i would say no.If you had brown eyes then you could go for it.Fo ryour eye color try neutrals.

It might look nice, just put on a lightr purple or lavender kind of colour. And just put it on your eyelid. I suggest also putting on a pink, or a cream or whitey colour above it. Hope this helped!

I don't think it's ugly but I do think that palette looks better on people with brown eyes.  Lots of brands do palettes for your eye color, check it out next time you go to the store

i wear purple eyeshadow all the time... but i use very little of it and put it only on my lid... i have blue eyes... you could try that

Stick to colors that are light and wont drown your pretty blue eyes out, light blues, grays, and greens work well with your eye color. Purple is really great for people whom have dark brown eyes along with black or really dark brown hair.

its like..I have brown eyes...it's like if I wore really dark eye shadow and that eye shadow happened to be blue..ewww...i'd look like  a tramp X_x

well purple looks great with every eye color. i find that instead of using a plain brown use a gold, purple or even a green for an extra good pop! i find that a colorful eyeliner on the top and a dark on the bottom (browns or blacks) with mascara (sometimes colored ones look cool) I think browns would look the best, it will make your eye color pop.

Classic Choices: Taupe, gray, violet, purple, deep blue (a darker shade than your eye color makes your eyes really blue), black (mix it with bright blue for a smoky effect)

Funky Favorites: Silver, turquoise, fuschia (brightens any shade of blue)

I do not think purple is UGLY with an eye color. I think when used in proportion and with the right blending techniques (and depending on the lip color ), it looks fine. :)

I don't think that with blue eyes, you need purple eyeshadow.

I don't think that purple eyeshadow looks good on blue or green eyed girls, but better on brown eyed girls. But if you are going to wear this color, wear it in VERY small quantities.

You can, however, wear plum mascara or eyeliner. You still get a pretty purple color, but it isn't overwhelming.
