I found this huge black beetle. Is putting it into cage dangerous?

  1. yes, it could scratch your python. Don't do it.


  2. Not *extremely* dangerous, just plain stupid.

    You have no idea what sort of diseases or parasites this beatle has, or what it could possibly do to your snake.

    Please DO NOT put the beatle, or any wild animals (living or dead) in with your snake. There are all sorts of things that could happen, and none of them are good.

    Why would you even want to put it in there?

  3. Why would you even consider keeping the beetle and putting it in a SNAKE cage? Ball python's have sensitive skin and even a mouse can harm it. I own a ball python and I know, DO NOT put the beetle in.

  4. Dangerous? Probably. Stupid? Absolutely.

    Why exactly do you feel the need to put some random huge bug in your pet's tank? What beneficial purpose can you POSSIBLY think that will serve? Hint: whatever it is, you're wrong, and you should feel bad.
