Is qatar airways still going to be hiring pilots in the year 2017 and onwards?......?

Thats when I'll be fully ready to fly for them. Will I get vacancy with them?

Dude i think your jumping the gun a bit.

1st how do you know that the company will still even be running then.

2nd i want to be a pilot when im older too, but i want to be a private pilot, its up to you but i would chose private pilot rather than a comercial pilot, think of it....you get to fly a small or private jet with the comfort and fun rather than a huge fat passenger  plane with the responsability of hundreds of people. anyhow if your maths is good and your eyesight is good plus your good at geography then i think you could be a comercial pilot. but if you want to be a private pilot then the rules are a little softer. hope i have helped and good luck of finding out.

Well its possible that they could get bankrupt, many airlines like Aloha & skywest have ethier gone into liquidation or are near bankruptcy due to the cost of fuel, i know that Skybus had a bad buisness start-up....there are attempts of bringing these airlines back.

And there's rumours about Oasis going soon too....

Your jumping the gun, i'd say go get your commercial pilots licence & ATPL first before thinking of getting a job with Qatar, don't forget theres loads of airlines out there better or equivalent to Qatar.

I found that there are 6 vacancies left for QA A380 pilots in 2017. You should sign up now though because if the world doesnt blow up by then you may just get the job!
