  1. I don't even want to know why you need to know this, but the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh offically reside in Buckingham Palace during the Winter/Fall/Spring months, at which point the public cannot tour it, and then she offically moves to Windsor Castle for the summertime, but again they do go to other places and on state trips.

  2. If you expecting to see her you will be waiting a while.

  3. If you want to know where the Queen is going to be read the Court Circular in the Times or London Gazette.

  4. If the Queen is not at Buckingham Palace, she will be at Windsor Castle. Queen Elizabeth II spends many weekends of the year at the castle and the palace, using it for both state and private entertaining. She resides mostly between these two official royal residences during the year, and off she goes to her summer retreat at Balmoral Castle in Scotland between Aug and Sep each year.

  5. Were you hoping to pop in for tea?

My calendar says April 11 - 13th is a weekend. Her normal practice is to leave the Palace Friday afternoon for weekends at Windsor Castle.

You will know if she's in residence by the flag staff. If she is there it will fly her standard. If she's in Windsor, the castle will bear her standard.

You can also check the Court Circular published in the main broadsheets like The Times.
