Is internet "Age Verification" just a scam? How many internet users have noticed that, when you go to a web-site, at the bottom it says "bank account/credit card information will only be used to verify age Your account will NOT be billed. Then after you enter your information, your account is sucked dry of money? How can this be legal? How can web-sites get by with stealing peoples money, when the site home-page says "You will NOT be billed, to verify your age"? For site entry, yes you will be billed. But why bill for proving age? I just dont understand.

  1. You actually entered your CC# number on a strange web site?

I dunno about the  legality of asking for a CC# , but I bet it's there just in case some numbnuts is actually dumb enough to enter their information.

    Whoa... Your parents failed you.

  2. Never give out your credit card # or bank account # for the purpose of "age verification." They'll raid your money if you do.
