  1. They use Food Debit cards now.

Now I don't know if I am defending Lilly with this statement or not, but here goes...

I don't think anyone has a problem helping those who are down and out or incapable of fending for themselves, but let's face it., abuse of the system is rampant.

I know people who are perfectly capable of working, (and do work) single men, who earn enough to support themselves yet somehow qualify for teh food card and use it.  Somewhere around 200 bucks a month for an able bodied man who is working.. the system is broken. In fact in California they actually have to solicit recipients for welfare now, they have more money than needy people in many counties.

  2. In Va they don't actually use food stamps any more, too embarrassing they said, now they have a 'food card' that looks and works just like a credit card.

    Now that's convenience.

I have seen these while standing in line to buy my ground beef for my family to live on, while the ones in front of me loaded up on chips, pop and other party essentials for the big game while paying for it with my money.

  3. did you know that most college kids over 18 could apply for and recieve food stamps to cut down on thier expenses?

  4. God tells us to help the poor, didn't he?

  5. Nope.

There are no more food stamps, (((((Zilla))))). It's an Access card now, used as a debit card. They don't have "In God We Trust" emblazoned on them, either.

They only name the state in which they are issued, so that would be in who we place our trust.

Yes, I receive food stamps for my family, I'm disabled from rheumatoid arthritis and cannot work outside the home.

  6. now thats comedy

it should be cause i heard its the only currency accepted in heaven

  7. These days, most food stamps are not printed at all, but are deposited electronically on a card which is used at stores just like a debit card.  In the old days when they were actually printed, I don't recall them having the ludicrous phrase on them at all.

  8. I hope some mean spirited people never find themselves in the potion where they may need help. It is because of mean spirited people that IL. has what is called a link card. It looks like a credit card or a bank card and the person just puts in their pin number.

  9. Not that I know of, in Texas it is a credit card.

Man, that is true.  The republicans don't like helping the poor at all.

  10. Not in THIS state...

Texas trusts only in Just-Us and it's penitentiaries!

  11. No they do not give paper stamps anymore now we get a card called an Access Card it even works in ATMs if you get TANF

  12. No and most states don't actually have paper"food stamps" anymore. The food stamp program is now administered by using and EBT card (Electronic Benefit Transaction). It is used just like an ATM card.

  13. It's alright, Atheists can still use them too..

  14. It is my understanding "food stamps" are now electronic cards like debit cards and no such writing only the number and the state. LOL

  15. It should, because those that end up on them probably did "Trust God".  After all, if they took responsibility for, and relied on, themselves, they would be paying with cash earned at their job.

  16. NO!!!

  17. LOL!!

no it should say in the Democratic Party we trust. we all know the republitards would let those folks starve to death before they give them a "handout"
