The Gunslinger Born is the first story arc of what will eventually be five total miniseries.  The Gunslinger Born is 7 issues long.  The next story arc is called "The Long Road Home" which consists of 5 issues which have all been released.  The first issue of the third story arc is scheduled to be released on Sept. 10th and will be called "The Dark Tower: Treachery".  I haven't heard any news about what the last two miniseries will be called.

It is a 7 issue comic book series based on The Dark Tower novels by Stephen King.  They are not written by King, but he serves as Creative and Executive Director.
