Is "bounty hunting" legal in Australia?

I have heard of it in the US, but does anyone know if it is legal in australia?

  1. It is ILLEGAL in Australia... if you spot a wanted criminal, you can call Police on 000 or Crime Stoppers on 1300 333 000 from anywhere in Australia (free call).  


  2.   Bounty hunting is basically legally killing or capturing another human that is on the bounty list like a wild deer. Usually you will capture the person and get a reward. Bring em back dead reward. Bring em back alive but still injured Reward.
