Is "deathnote" worth reading?

i considering it, and am wondering if i should start getting it. is the artwork and story good?

yes the book is worth reading,artwork? Well I would like to say its fantastic. O.k the plot is that a bored high-schooler found a book that fell from the sky.He was eager to look at it. It was called "DeathNote" thought it was a prank thing.So he tested it on a criminal. All I can give you! Don't wanna be a real spoiler!

Yes.  The artwork is amazing and so is the story.  Unfortunately, it is INCREDIBLY word heavy and sometimes, you will have to read a page MANY times to understand what the heck is going on.

If you don't know, it's about a teenager named Light who finds a death note, a notebook from the world of the death gods. Whoever has their name written in the notebook, dies. From there, he decides to kill off all of the world's criminals. After more criminals drop dead, the FBI starts to track down who's behind the killings, ultimately pitting Light in a cat-and-mouse against the eccentric dective, L.

Death Note is most definately the best manga that is worth your reading time. The artwork is unique and close to real human beings because some characters have good body physique. The story and plotlines are awesome. If you like psychological material, you'll definately like Death Note. Its one of the best classic manga out there, and its quite unique, different from the usual Naruto and Bleach mangas out there.
