No my husband is from Dublin and every thing is feck, this and feck, that and I keep saying to him stop swearing ,and he says its  not swearing, when I was having chemo, The doctor at the hospital asked me what chemo did I want ,did I want tango, or fec., short names for the drugs I had to have .my daughter and I pissed our selfs laughing, the doctor thought we were nutters.until we explained the fec,.so my option was to have a fec. every three weeks.it made me get through my treatment.but the only thing was it was during the day and not the night.

  18. feck is a posh way of saying the proper F word, my aunties use it all the time but to me there is no point in changing the pronunciation in one letter to make it sound any better, a swear word is a swear word so we might as well use it right

  19. Actually to feck something originally was to steal it.  It is only a mild swear word and really has nothing to do with the other f word at all!!

    This word was used more years ago and has come back into popularity due to its use in Father Ted.
