  1. As a term I think political correctness is quite misnamed. If you were to spend some time in business, you would find that this is not politically motivated at all, but economically - it is all driven by money. Companies cannot afford to alienate a potential market, so they consciously make their advertising multicultural, they become investors in people etc.

Simply follow the rule that capitalism will follow public opinion. Current marketing ethics make it so.

The American economy is very aggressive and it works in tandem with the US government, it makes sense that it has a lot of say in policy. The same is true of the UK.

  2. Ah, another fellow Peasant :)

It's becoming downright stupid. Political correctness can kiss my black ***. (Am I allowed to say that anymore???)

  3. Yes I'm afraid the story of the 3 little pigs is set to become the next to go.

At what point will the people themselves say ENOUGH?

  4. fing rights!

like Senator John McCain perhaps holding a grudge against North American Indians because they were said to be descendants of asians, and he was alledgedly tortured by the North Vietnamese when captured by them in the war.   And once elected he sought to be on the Indian Affairs commitee so he could get his revenge.

Is that politically correct or just another made up political conspiracy made up to amuse myself as i pretend to be a hard hitting journalist?  Would McCain care to answer that question?

  5. YES

  6. YES-YES-YES!!!!

  7. We we come to the point in which opinion becomes a sanctioned commodity, we are in grave jeopardy of losing the freedoms our Founding Fathers gave their all to provide for the fledgling nation.

Just because someone doesn't LIKE what has been said doesn't mean we need political intervention. We can turn it off, tune it out and ignore it. Believe it or not, that advice from kindergarten STILL works.

When people see that their shouting gets them NOTHING, they will change tactics.

We must stand up for the basic freedoms that are guaranteed to us in the Constitution, but we are under no obligation to 'get offended' because someone says or does something we don't like personally. That is a choice not a right.

  8. I've always said that Political Correctness will be the down fall of our Nation, the 1st Amendment supports our freedom of speech, PC goes directly against it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. Political Correctness and Environmental Correctness and any other Correctness is Killing us!

  10. Read Kurt Vonnegut's book "welcome to the monkey House"

A short story in it is called "Harrison Bergeron" about what happens when everything is finally "EQUAL"

Anyhow, yes to your question.  People are getting thier carrers ruined for just speaking the "wrong words." and thrown off airplanes for wearing the "wrong T-Shirts."

Wake up, folks!  That next person may be YOU!

  11. Yeah your just noticing this,  people are offended so you most leave.  Who sets the grounds for what is offensive and what is not offensive?

  12. Here is the Barbarian Celtic News from Britain.

PC - Political Correctness, started life in the political cafes of the Paris Left bank - frequented mostly by the Communists.

Political Correctness was a method created by the French Communist Party of the 1920s to stifle open debate on almost any subject.

First a person is attacked and made to feel anti-Semitic or a racist or worse.

Thus it becomes virtually impossible for anyone to so much as say a single word on any subject without fear of being pounced upon and being accused of such as racism in the extreme.

Let me give you an example.  A couple of years or so ago, at a council meeting here in London, a local councillor taking part in a debate about reducing the death toll on the roads in his borough, just happened to say, "yes, you cannot see black people in the dark."  He was immediately pounded upon by the PC army of left-wing loonies and soon ousted from his job.

Well...is it true?  Is it difficult to see black people in the dark?

YES it is.  Likewise people wearing dark clothing also cannot be seen easily in the dark by someone driving a car etc.

Why do soldiers 'black up' before going into battle?  So they are less easy to see.

Like in the original Artanis [Frank Sinatra] movie, "Ocean's Eleven" when the Rat-Pack were preparing to go into the casino, they began by slapping black makeup on their faces.

Sammy Davis Junior, looked at the camera and said "I came already made up".

PC = COMMIE c**p let's just get rid of it.

Somehow the people of USA and UK and everywhere else have got to know and understand the true origin of this method called PC - it is Communist.  Funny thing is they don't have it in Russia -wonder why?

  13. Think it's all gone mad. ok to slag off whites for tellin jokes about non whites but ok for non whites to slag off themselves.e.g. I call a black guy,in a joke, a ******.I'm a racist, scum of the earth extremist. Chris Rock or Eddie Murphy do the same joke and it's a scream. PC world is like the hair on a ******'s ***. IT'S NOT FAIR. :)

  14. I am not sure about the American Constitution but it has infected the very core of the British way of life
