  1. r.s? as is religious studies?

its a pointless GCSE but tbh universities don't give a **** about GCSE's its the A-levels that count...

  2. You can even get a business job without be able to spell business, so don't worry.

  3. GCSEs dont really matter for uni, as long as you get good enough grades for the A levels you want it doesnt matter what ones you take. Business studies is pointless...RS is probably too but in our school it was compulsory and i enjoyed it after a while

  4. Universities only care that you have a pass in Maths and English at GCSE.

You don't need Business Studies GCSE to do Business Studies A level. Whether you have it or not will make no difference.

You don't even need a Business degree to get a job in business! Very few employers actually specify which degree you have to have.

A degree in French can lead to a job in television, a degree in sociology can lead to a degree in law, a degree in philosophy can lead to a job in politics. The degree you have doesn't have to have anything to do with your career.

So just pick the courses you find most enjoyable and are most likely to do well in. I did RS and loved it!

  5. I took RS and I thought it helped me to understand people and other cultures. It taught me about the World and in a job it is good for communication skills. I loved the course and if you concentrate you can get a really good grade. Unis do not look at you GCSEs a lot but they do like a variation between what you want to do and your other skills. Business is too focused on one area which is not beneiftical in a job. Anyway they only really look at your A-Levels mainly. Unis just want you to study what interests you and Business is not needed in jobs. It does not again teach vital skills but only things that you may even be taught on Training courses. Hope this helps.
