"Chrysalis" - a cardinalcyn

Where to start,

torn apart,

love at distance.

Heart bleeding.

Heard your voice,

had no choice

except to fall.

Heart bleeding.

Fatal kiss,

hold to this

declaration.

Heart bleeding.

Touch your face,

heat's embrace.

With you I'm whole,

heart healed.

  1. As always, this is a great piece of writing. It flows perfectly and I love how "heart bleeding" went to "heart healed." YOU have a beautiful heart, Eva!

  2. another great poem - no risk of forgetting why i made you a contact =]

i like the way it rhymes...yet doesn't rhyme. 'cardinalcyn'? you use some poetic forms i've never come across before...where do you find them?

short, simple lines, clear message, and clear tone.

and for the question...for some reason the answer that sprang to mind was "rain is wet, but tears are wetter". perhaps my muse has stopped sulking...

  3. Where to go,

    mind thick snow,

    Love with heartache.

    Empty chair.

    Read some words,

    talks in thirds,

    something moved.

    Empty chair.

    A rattled cage

    from a page,

    Independence.

    Empty chair.

    Said by you,

    given clue,

    and now its clear.

    Rocking chair.

  4. So much with so little. Always a full glass. TY

  5. I like it. It has a nice beat to it.

  6. Love the deception of question!  Is Rain Really Wet, but will answer as far as I know rain is always wet!  LOL

This particular piece of poetry has few words but with much meaning  that most can relate , sweet love can be gentle or tough, or bittersweet! Cheers!
