Is raja bell's clothsline on kobe what made him known in the nba?

Raja is a great defender and holds it down at the 3 pt. The Suns love him.

Actually that whole season was when Raja got his credit, before he clotheslined Kobe (which by the way was the funniest thing I seen since the Pistons/Pacer brawl). Yes he is a great defender and he was named to the All NBA team that same year or whatever its called. But even after the clothesline incident, he helped the Suns beat the Clippers that next round with that massive three and helped lead them to the Wetern Conference Finals where they fell short to the Mavericks. I'm a Phoenix Suns and Raja Bell fan and that whole season I was up on my games, but Raja just isn't known for dropping Kobe. He's known for his defense, three pointers, and passion for the game. There are plenty of other players that got into it with other known players and still aren't recognized.

sad but kinda true..he was known but not as popular as he is today ... plus he doesn't do very well good job defending Kobe so ( Kobe shot 50+ against him in last 3 years ) ... but he sure gets people under skin

Yes, the only reason anybody even knows who Raja Bell is is because of the cheapshot on Kobe. That made his career. When hes 50 years old what do you think hes going to show his grandkids? Videos of the Suns losing in the playoffs year after year, or the clothesline on Kobe? And if hes such a great defender why does Kobe burn him for at 30-50 points every time hes played him since? and im out

Honestly, Bell's one of the most underrated players in the game. Great defender and he nails the 3. Dollars to donuts D'Antoni finds a way to get him to the Knicks.
