  1. Not compared to the big brands, but as an entry level company they make decent clubs. My wife and I bought my father-in-law a set for his birthday and they suit him very well.

  2. Ever seen caddyshack? Wang used RAM clubs, and he hit em pretty good!! lol

  3. Ram is a discount brand that makes clubs for beginners or non-serious players who are not willing (or not able) to spend much money on equipment. So if that sounds like you they are probably fine. But most 'good' players would not touch them with a 10 foot poll.

Personally, if that was my price range, I'd try to find the right fit of Ping clubs and search for a used set with similar specs on ebay.

  4. You get what you pay for...

  5. no they are clubs that are made cheaper than most. if your looking for clubs i would recommend used or older clubs that are the same price. but ram is good for beginners because it really doesnt matter what you hit for a year or so. ram isnt terrible but they are anything special. basically they ar the minimum for a golf club.

  6. for beginners very nice

  7. Tom Watson played Ram and won 5 British Opens, Masters, US Open.... They are fine....

  8. No, and yes. They have a tour version of their clubs (the ones that are good) and have the versions out for the public. I've owned some and they sort of broke when I used them xD. They are okay for beginners though.

  9. They are just fine - not as popular as the others mentioned here, but I had a set of Tour Grind blades I got new in late eighties and they were really advanced for the time.  Forged, but with perimeter weighting to help off center hits.  Ram does not pay tour players to play their clubs anymore, so they are not as well known or popular, but Tom Watson used them for years, and he was at the top of the PGA tour with Nicklaus and Trevino.  The fact is when it comes to golf it is not the "bows and arrows" that are as important as the "native american".  In other words if you have a good swing just about any club will do.  If you have a poor swing the most expensive equipment will only help so much.

  10. nah, compared to taylormade, titleist, callaway, ping, etc  no
