  1. yes he is.

  2. to be honest i dont care

i cant wait to see him at old trafford

  3. Yes, cos he's a dik, thinks he's better than he is and being disrespectful to spurs

  4. man u should offer 25m + louis saha for berbatov.

  5. Yes 100% just think what Fergie would do to him

  6. Ramos is taking through his **** as if he would play a star quality player like Berbatov in reserves!! I agree with Sir Dave!

He would be good at United though id like to see him there ...even if his attitude stinks ..

  7. is ferguson right to threaten Ronaldo and his family if/when he moves to real madrid!!!?

  8. Bein Yid Army to the bone, he was a quality player when he wanted to be but had a tendancy to get sulky (beggining of last season).

This year he's just being a pain in the ****.  He has purposefully put Spurs in a position where we ave to sell him for the benfit of the team.  Man U know this and will probably use it in the next few days to get a better deal.

Good players leave Spurs sometimes and it's not a problem.  When they shaft us in the process they are Judas Scum.

So in answer to the question, morally Ramos is right, however in order to get £30m for him he can't play until the next transfer window in the reserves.  Ramos isn't daft.  Unfortunately the man pulling the strings at White Hart Lane at the moment (not Ramos) IS.

  9. the massive difference between this situation and RONALDO's spurs are holding out for more money so its hardly berbatovs fault, they are happy to sell him.

  10. Ya he said that he would let him rot in the stands rather than sell him for less than 30 million while Sir Alex won't pay more than 25 million.

  11. @Sir Dave: Finally someone that doesn't believe all the media BS...i got td's yesterday for stating the same thing. Spurs are a club who aside from winning trophies, also want to make money, does anyone believe Ramos would actually stick Spurs in the reserves and let his price go down???? His contract expires in 2years, does anyone actually think if he's left to rot in the reserves, he'll renew? So Spurs will end up sticking a potential £25m money maker in the reserves, watch his value drop and then watch him leave for free....Really now, wheres the sense in that?

  12. Yes, It is so Disrespectful, Ronaldo must be giving him Private Lessons :P

Footballers might have talent on the pitch, but their attitude smells like an alleyway rat!

I would actually suggest him selling him so they have some dough than rather having no money and let the first team keep losing than rather the reserves winning!

  13. It's the Ronaldo saga all over again, isn't it?

No exactly.Berbatov hasn't been loyal to Spurs since last season, but he's already handed in a formal transfer request. So it's totally different from Ronaldo. In Ronaldo's case the press and Ramon Calderon were the ones claiming that Ronaldo is moving to Real.Ronaldo himself didn't say anything of the sort, apart from his usual "it's a dream of mine to play for Real" bullshit. In the end he didn't hand in a formal transfer request or anything, and finally he came out and committed himself for one more season at least. In Berba's case he's already handed in a formal transfer request.Spurs don't want to keep Berbatov, they're just holding out for a King's ransom from United. So it's not really right for Spurs to threaten a player they deem expendable with reserve team football.Once United are willing to pay the 30 million pounds,Juande Ramos and Daniel Levy would be tripping over themselves helping Berbatov pack his bags.

  14. defentily if he can refuse to play send bad spirt around the camp and c**p at training then ramos with more power can do it for sure and levy has got to understand that ramos and tottenham do not want or need him!!!!

he is a great player but wud not suit the quick working strong play united play just think would berbatov run for the ball like rooney ronaldo nani tevez n even saha n also campbell! he wud suit arsenals passin game

  15. It's not a threat, (the bloody cry baby sulking wuss) is under contract to play for spurs. until they want to sell or his contract runs out Ramos is entitled to play him as he sees fit!

  16. Ramos is talking b/s.

No manager would let £25 million worth of talent wasting.

It's all a bluff to get the best deal possible.  Call it ' football poker '.

  17. It's a tough problem for Ramos.  He has 10 viable midfielders and one striker (without Berba).  They need to sell him and get someone else up front in, right now.  s***w putting him down to the reserves, that'll just make a bad situation worse.

  18. I think it is not right to condemn Berbatov to rot in the reserves, even if it is to punish his mercenary attitude.

The reasons are as follows, firstly, mercenary attitude among top football players in the world cannot be avoided. This is due to the fact that football is now all about money and the real passion about the game in professional football is virtually negligible, if there's any.

Secondly, it is useless to keep an unhappy player in your team. Even if Ramos is to just ignore Berbatov, but he's still in the team and this would disrupt the atmosphere in the dressing room as well as in the club as a whole. On the pitch, this will certainly impede Tottenham's success. It has been shown so far as we could see how Tottenham started the new season in an appalling manner.

Thirdly, it would not be economical to keep a top player like Berbatov in the reserves, as Tottenham would still need to pay his wages, and it is to Berbatov's benefit. He still gets all the facilities in Tottenham and he still gets his pay without even playing in any matches (Remember Winston Bogarde, guys?)

I think it is best just to let him go to wherever he wants, just like what Roy Keane was suggesting to Ramos, even if Keane's intention is just to help his beloved Manchester United to get Berbatov as soon as possible.

But I think he might be right, even if we look at it from a neutral's point of view. Players who move clubs because of money seem to get a bad karma, in which they are not able to play well anymore in their new clubs. One recent example of this would be Ashley Cole, and potentially Mathieu Flamini.

So, for Spurs fans out there, don't worry, even if he goes to Manchester United, I don't see him emulating his great scoring form in Tottenham. Thus, it would be best, especially for Tottenham to let him go for Berbatov is the root of all of their problems currently.

    Cheers.

  19. Yes he is. Sagas like these just remind me that Football is crying out for rules. I mean, Clubs can kick out unwanted players but as the same time players are able to buy out their contracts and leave against their clubs wishes.

In Spain they have a great system in that every player has a 'minimum fee release clause' in their contracts that means every player can go to another Spanish club if that clause is activated. They should have a similar system here.

Berbatov would be a great addition to any side because he is a unique striker and right now there is noone like him out there-Pure class. But I hasten to say that he claimed he rejected United to Join Tottenham yet 1 year later he declares he wants to join them and 2 years later he is forcing the issue-Why did he join them in the first place if this was the case? If he had none of this would of happened.

  20. There's more to this situation then some may have perceived. Apparently after the Boro game on the coach home, Berba stormed on and had a massive go at Jenas claiming his crosses were useless and he shouldn't have taken a shot at one point and passed to him instead and Woody had to hold Berba back from taking a pop at JJ. This was discussed with Ramos and Ramos didn't like Berba's attitude in answering to the incident henceforth Ramos dropped Berba. I can see why people would say Spurs are cutting of their nose to spite their face but the sort of behaviour I've mentioned is unacceptable and Red Nose will get his man for less then Spurs would have liked, unless of course Real Madrid gazump him.

  21. you bet he's right.tottenham hold his contract, and his registration, why can't they make him play in the reserves.but at the end of the day he wants to go,so tottenham should get the best money for him and say good riddance to him.he is a moody little ****,lets see how fergie handles him once he throws his dummy from the pram at old trafford!!
