Like in the Plies video that showed a woman with an eviction notice and Plies going up to her as a complete stranger & offering to pay for it and giving her money.

Or the New TI video where he basically walks up to a girl and basically starts giving her money and flirting with her.

Or like in the Rick Ross video featuring Nelly he picks up some random girl from taco bell & takes her back to a mansion.

Is rap music implicity teaching men to be simps?

Fairy tales,movies, and music use that same tired old theme.There are no real prince charmings out there,just some good men.Women have to be their own knights in shining armor!

Rap music is more known for its misogynic tendencies,and its objectifying women.

This question has been bandied about for ages-a great sociological question,but really not one dealing with real royalty,real monarchy.

Rap music???????  You mean somehow, calling a woman B'tch and hoe is teaching them that Prince Charming is on his way?  How?  with guns blazing and ganstas killing each other?  Is Prince Charming supposed to rescue this woman from this horrible stuff that they sing about?

Why don't you search out and read this old book called "The Cinderella Complex"?  It will explain a great deal for you.  It ain't about rap music, or any other music.  What makes you think that Rap suddenly has a lock on the fairy tale industry, that these people are isolated from every other inflluence of our culture?

2. Rap music(?) glorifies killing and a criminal lifestyle and encourages young men to disrespect women. It tells young women they are nothing but objects to be used for men's pleasure. And not just black children, but white and asian too. And we wonder why today's generation are a bunch of disrespectful hooligans.
