  1. Re-cycling is very important for the environment.

  2. How is recycling "a load of rubbish"?? It's helping out the environment. If we reuse things, that means that less things out there (like trees) have to be destroyed in order to make stuff for us.

For example, recycling paper reduces the amount of trees that'll have to be cut down. And more trees equals more oxygen for us. :)

  3. It's rubbish being re-cycled...

  4. In a way, yes it is.  Recycling uses energy and is not the answer.

  5. In response to Christy's answer, she's right.  Recycling does use energy, that's why the slogan is Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and the rules should be applied in that order.  If you don't buy beveridges in cans or plastic bottles you don't have to recycle them.

  6. I cycled to my recycling area only to find i had gone the wrong way so i had to recycle right back, it was rubbish!

  7. It's definately NOT rubbish...

*It helps lower manufacturing costs for products made from recycled rather than virgin materials.

*Avoiding landfill or incineration fees, still over $100 per ton in Passaic County, New Jersey

*The value of conserving our natural resources

*The value of saved energy by recycling materials rather than obtaining virgin materials

  8. Even if it was rubbish, which its not. What can it hurt? You can even make money.....
