Is reading a 2005 SAT study guide still good for taking the SAT in 2012?

I'm going to high school next year, so I assume I could take it in 2010 and 2011 also. SO i will take it in 2-4 years.

; *laugh* no! by 2012, your peers will have 2012 SAT guides, and you'll be the only one with a 2005 sat study guide. the vocabulary will be the same, but costs of study guides are so low that it will be benficial for you to get a new one.

Someone told me parts of the book may still be good, such as study habits and like the above poster vocab. the math probably won't change much either. Tell me if this is wrong, because I partially believe this.
