Is real esate a good career to make lot of money?

I want to make lots of money. I want to make about 250k to 400k a year. Is being a real esate agent a good career to make lots of money or should I go get a degree in ssomthing else?

i think so but IT (information technology) is even better

Nope. You'll never make even 100k in real estate unless you're selling 10 million dollar homes every week.  Especially now since the housing market is completely awful, it would be the worst time to even think of being a realtor.
