I very much doubt it!  She is far too young, anyway

What about Chris Hoy who has won 3 Gold Medals, Ben Ainslie who has won 3 Golds over the last 3 games, Iain Percy who has 2 Gold Medals to his name ... the list will go on.  Christine Ohurugu could win another gold medal in the relay!

They unfortunately set a precedent when Kelly Holmes won her medals (Well deserved it migh be but didn't they think it would be done again!)

I think a CBE would suffice for her.

I think she should be, considering Kelly Holmes was. People have been made dames for far less.

Perhaps. but maybe not just yet. seems a bit of a mouthful for a 19 year old. Especially how long it took Kelly Holmes.

total respect and admiration for the girls achievments, but being knighted is a step too far

I wouldn't have thought so, but you never can tell!

She did an amazing swim and has already won a gold medal for it, not saved the world, or eliminated war & hunger.
