  1. simple answer no

its if there is a problem then fuses blow

  2. nO, AS LONG AS THE RADIAL CIRCUIT IS PLUGGED INTO A 16 AMP MBC.

  3. prat !!!your head lamp alignment is determined by mot test equipment if you turn them down then they are misaligned and why get bigger bulbus then shorten range, dosey git........... looking at cobra's answer he is mad a fuse is there to protect circuit if you change it it could cause fire

  4. Don't know, but it will probably attract the police like a magnet and fail the MOT

  5. If you want really clear bright head lights with out having the worry about 1) Burning your wiring 2) Blowing your fuses ever time you turn the on 3) Getting pulled by the police 4) Failing your MOT 6)dazzling on coming drivers, get a CE approved HID conversion kit for your car.

    Ja.

  6. Just so you know, a 300% increase in light emitted from the bulb will only lead to an increased visibility distance of 20%! Waste of money

  7. 100W lamps will draw almost twice as much current as the 55W lamps.  The fuse that you have is designed to protect the wire, so DON'T think you can just put a larger fuse in - you'll burn up the wiring harness.  100W x 2 = 200W.  200W at 12V = just over 16A.  With a safety factor, closer to 20A.  So if your headlamps fuse is smaller than 20A, you can't use 100W headlamps.

  8. It's not the fact they're frowned upon, they're illegal for street use.

The maximum permitted wattage for headlight bulbs is 55/65w

  9. Even if you update all your electrical system to take the extra load from

the 100 watt upgrade bulbs you have forgotten just one little thing. The

100 watt bulbs are going to run twice as hot as the 55 watt ones in

the same headlamp casing and will burn out quicker due to lack of

    ventilation.

  10. Probably not . Its the amps that count . Is the amperage the same

  11. A 100W bulb draws almost twice as much amperage as a 55W, so the fuse may blow with the added load. If it does, then simply double the size of the fuse in the headlight circuit and that should solve any problems
