Can I put plain white minute rice with nothing added to it in my composter?

  1. Yes, but:

    By itself, it is not so nutritious for composting organisms.  Your composter will *also* need nitrogen.


  2. Sure you can but why?

    I try to eat my rice. The composter is for stuff that no one wants to eat!

    I feed left overs, including rice to my little bio digesters (Rabbits) Stuff they refuse and their wastes go onto the compost heap.
