Is riding a bike like a razor scooter?

Hey im 13 and i dont know how to ride a bike and im just wondering if the balance of a 2 wheeled razor scooter is the same type of balance like a bike, if not can you give me some tips of how to ride a bike good. My dad said i would pick it up in 10 minutes

  1. I think a scooter is much easier to learn than a bike, but a bike is more fun to ride. With a scooter, you're just barely above the ground and if you fall you can easily jump off and run off your momentum. With a bike, if you fall, you fall hard on the ground because you cannot get off the bike as easily. But scooting around is fun, gets tiring though.


  2. Riding a bike is the same. If you stop, you lose your balance. One you learn how to bike, you'll never forget it I swear. While riding a bike, don't move the handlebar too much (wide) if you're trying to balance. Your dad is right it is very easy, easier than driving a car. When you are about to start, keep both feet on the ground. When you are ready to go put one foot on the pedal and give yourself one push to get going. Like what i said, if you stop you lose balance.
