Is riding the Grey Hound bus really as dangerous as people say?

I'm 15 and have to travel about 551 miles to Atlanta. I'll be with my other friend who is my age. And my parents are concerned about me going because they say it's dangerous at the terminals and anything could happen. But I want the opinion of someone who has some experience...?

its not bad but i do agree to stay with a friend i have been on one once i met a girl on there and boy do i wish i didn't she came to visit and then instantly when she got there she said she was moving in she was a knock out but man she was a loony she even had conversations with her self in the restroom needless to say she was on a bus in a day or 2 back LOL just watch who you talk to

PS i should had known because she showed me her b*****s and pantie's on the buss

It just depends, people have been raped on the buses before. However, people have no problem alot also.

The terminals are the worse part. Stay with your friend when using the restrooms. Never could figure out why such a big company could not make their terminals a bit safer and throw out the sleeping bums. Do not, under any circumstances, try to sneak a smoke in the restroom on the bus. They have detectors and will throw you off the bus.
