i love rockband it is a great game but i dint know about the breaking of the    

instruments since i only played the game a few times over my cuzins hosue but rockband 2 is coming out very soon i would advise u to wait for that its sounds great

uhm the only thing i've see break was teh drums, but that was because people didnt hit ti correctly, and didnt adjust the hieght to their hieght, its very good over all 9.8 out of 10 buy it you should haveno doubt
