Is roller coaster tycoon worth buying?

im looking for a game like roller coaster tycoon or the sims or sim city. anyone have any good suggestions for games like these

it's worth buying! I mean picture it, you own your own amusement park. Unlock new and better rides. I liked the original one and my friend had rollercoaster tycoon 3 and it was addicting!

well, I have Roller coaster Tycoon and it is a really fun game especially when you come to build the rollercoasters.

As with the sims to be honest its not as good as the xbox nor ps2 versions i mean the PC version isn't as good.

Sim City is good if you like building cities, Towns etc or if you like a good game like sim city get or try and get a game called pharoah, you have to build your own Town and get as many people as possible whilst other invaders come and destroy your town its a real fun game, more fun than sim city i think anyway and also if you like fantasy games that are also like Sim city try and get Populous: The beginning its a real awesome game too - you have to build a army up with a shaman thats the boss and the bigger the army the better it will be for you as you can wipe the oponents out very easily plus the shaman has special powers like she can cast more land for you, destroy the enemy by sending dragons in to there and more its just an awesome game

I like the game.  Nice balance of elements to keep you entertained.

When you get bored,  see if you can design the ultimate "killer" ride.  

I remember I had one where the cars would regularly leave the track, flinging the riders to a fiery doom in the food court on the other side of the park.  The ride would be shut down after that, of course, but the ride always passed its safety inspection so it could be reopened.  Meanwhile, the park filled up with thrill seekers demanding to take the ride of a lifetime - the LAST ride of their lifetime that is.

It was like something out of that one story from Ray Bradbury about the amusement park that was designed to thin out the population by intentionally killing the riders.

take ur chances, funnest game in the world the first day, boring as **** the second
