  1. What kind of boat do you want?   A dingy can cost around 400, a peapod around 900, a rowing shell around 3000.   Someone nearby built a boat and has free rowing every monday morning to whoever shows up.   All depends on what you want and how willing you are to search out people who might not be in the same social setting as you.

  2. Only if they have the butler do it.

  3. That DOES seem excessive.  Get a row boat and row away for a bit of nothing!

  4. rich persons sport? no, i dnt think so lol

  5. i thought golf was a rich persons sport lol

if its expensive that doesn't mean its a rich persons sport

  6. i would not know but i have been up a creek without a paddle or 5 cents to my name.

  7. No it is not a rich persons sport. The high fees are merely to confirm your dedication. If you wanted to have a remote airplane when you where a kid and you got it for free it just would not have had the same value and you would lose inter rest.It is nice to see that these fees are bugging you, which shows your desire to row and know the sport is true and not superficial "like people who think it is for the wealthy"
