  1. No, not at all, as long as it's on the bright side of the colour. Paired with something like canary yellow, peach, or bright pink - would be lovely. Or even lime or orange, if you are bold.

  2. No do what YOU want its your wedding don't let anyone tell you different.

  3. Royal blue sounds winter-ry to me but I have a suggestion.  Pair it with yellow.  That will make it summer-ry just like that!

Anothe neat trick would be to pair it with lighter blues as well.  Just pair it with a complimentary pale color and it will all make sense.  Good luck to you!

  4. I think royal blue is usually a winter wedding color, but if that's what you want, then go for it. It's your wedding, and you should make it reflect your personal tastes. My only suggestion would be to lighten up the feel of the ceremony & reception sites with lighter colors like champagne, silver, ivory, a lighter blue, etc.

  5. I want spring colors in my fall wedding... so here's the deal. Either you wait 3 months... or you have the wedding YOU want. In the end, I don't think anyone cares but you. Have the wedding you want. The end :)

  6. No way, try using different shades of blue also and maybe some yellow to brighten it up if you feel its too much of a winter color.

  7. II was in a wedding in a royal blue gown in the winter.  i loved it.  It was much too hot for a summer wedding.

  8. It's easy to say "It's your wedding, do what you want," but the truth is darker colors are hotter to wear, and I doubt you're the one who will be wearing it.  If you want a blue color, go for a lighter shade.  Spare your bridesmaids the discomfort of a dark color.
