  1. Argentinian rugby is improving all the time.  They have not always gotten that many games against the better sides, so Argentines haven't really had many good games to watch.  However, this is changing, and rugby is becoming more popular in Argentina.

  2. Yes it is, but obviously not as big as football. However, there is quite an infrastructure of clubs, the biggest being in the capital Buenos Aires and these incluse CASI (Club Atletico San Isidro) and Hindu. Rugby in Argentina is still an amatuer sport so the best players go abroad to play in Europe (mainly). The natiuonal side, the Pumas, are currently rated #6 in the world, above previous world champions England. Here's a list of the top 20 in the world.

    1 New Zealand

    2 France

    3 Australia

    4 Ireland

    5 South Africa

    6 Argentina

    7 England

    8 Wales

    9 Fiji

    10 Italy

    11 Scotland

    12 Samoa

    13 Tonga

    14 Romania

    15 Canada

    16 United States

    17 Uruguay

    18 Japan

    19 Georgia

    20 Namibia

  3. Yes it is, but not as big as Football (Soccer), Basket or Tennis.

  4. I think they are more interested in football, which of course is huge over there.

  5. yes its very big there

  6. Rugby will be the second biggest sport in South America .. I am not from Argentina (rugby is already big there) but in my country they are starting to play it even my brothers  ---( they are not good at football)  ---We love football but when they are not playing it we still want to watch some competition.
