  1. well the basics are rather simple, its the advanced rules that you will slowly learn if you decide to play. its a little harder to learn than soccer but it's easier to learn than american football. u should play, its a great sport! watch the video below to get the basics of rugby. good luck!

  2. its like every other sport; you have to score more than the opposition.

but its not a scripted sport. it requires flair, imagination, creativity, spatial recognition.

your personality will really be what determines if you like it

  3. no

  4. If they ask what position you want to play, if you are unfit, stay out of the forwards.

  5. It depends on the position you want to play, some positions (especially in the forwards) require skills that take longer to master.  I started playing when I was 17, I had a bit of pace and found the wing an easy position to start in, you just have to be able to catch, kick and run, and make the odd tackle. The backs don't have to be as fit as the forwards but the fitter you are the better player you will be. Rugby is great because there is a position for people of all different body shapes, you don't have to be an athelete to play

  6. if your a team player,it will be no problem.Learn the Basics and learn them well because the basics is where your game is won or lost you dnt do them rite its goodnight nurse.Go The ALLBLACKS!!!!!!!

  7. It's actually quite simple to learn. Click on the link below to learn more about the rules and history of this great game! Of course, you need to be physically fit to play rugby, but since you are working on that and you seem to have the desire... give it a go! I'm sure you'll do great!
