  1. Try running at least 3 miles a day.

  2. If you are talking about being a really good runner competitivley say high school that will gett you nowhere. You really need to run at least 45-75 miles a week it is a sport that requires a lot of dedication. however if you just want to run to say that you run I would atleast suck it up and run three miles a day minimum.

  3. no

  4. Defitnetly! Maybe it's too much though...

Remember your muscles will be sore and you'll go through h**l!!!

I'm a soccer player and training is basically running and endurance! It's brutal! Just rest your muscles and don't push yourself over the limit. You just have wait and you'll see results!!!

    Good Luck!!!

  5. No. That means that you would run for, say 8 minutes a day (slow pace) four times a week and then say 20 mins. That may be ok if you start off from zero. Talk to your school physical fitness teacher, tell him what you want to do (sprints, middle or long distance) and take it from there. And take it from me, get good shoes

  6. A mile won't get you too far. Most high school runners run at least 6miles on the long days and 2-3 on the easy days. We also cross train during part of the season, like weight training and sometimes bike work for injured athletes. If you need any workout option just email me! :) hope this helps!

  7. No, it is not enough but it will help, at least it will improve your cardio..

What is your intention? Do you intend to be a sprint runner or a long distance runner?

You have to choose between the two.

The training for these were different.

You must have good running shoes. Shoes that will not going to give you blisters.

Get a trainer for these,as they have a fitness program for the purpose taht you want.

  8. depends on what you take to be a good runner. a mile really isn't that much. if you want to become a good runner i would recommend you start running more. did you type in your weight wrong? its impossible for someone with your height to weigh so little. and if you do weigh that much your not in good condition and you need help.
