  1. focous on breathing because i have asthma and i run for like ever

  2. Running is mainly about relaxing and also breathing and keeping your form. Keep your arms pumping back and forth...even when you're tired.

  3. I notice that relaxing my face will help me run, actually relaxing my whole body helps me run, i also do a lot of arm stretches, this helps me a lot. But the one thing that increased my run time by 6 minutes on a 3 mile run was breathing right 2 in on out. Took a long time to get it but it worked for me, took a 27 min 3 mile to 21 minutes.

  4. What? Running is cardiovascular exercise - thus used to strengthen the cardiovascular system and improve metabolism.

  5. I would say that running is mainly about pushing off from the ground with your feet using the muscles in your legs in the most energy efficient way possible. relaxing the face and body is just something that helps you do this. with regard to breathing you just need to make sure that your breathing also remains relaxed and you take deep, normal breaths without gasping.

  6. Relaxing is very important to running fast. But you need to be strong so you can relax and not collapse at the ankle/knee at ground contact. Running is not a push off motion. It is more of a bouncing motion with short contact times causing longer strides. Breathing does not help support force. Focus on getting stronger isometrically at ankle/knee so you have shorter ground contact times.
