  1. Running in sand is good because the resistance the sand provides. Cardio is a great way to lose weight. The best combo is to mix cardio with lifting.

Don't forget to eat well! Lean protein and lots of veggies. Try to stay away from too many carbs and sugars.

  2. Running on sand is a very good way to lose weight. It'lltone up your legs a lot too.

  3. All depends on how deep the sand is Racehorses train on sand makes them work harder and not prone to injury Best to get back quicker is run hills; small steps up; long ones down--Hard  Dont run on concrete if possible  makes you--more prone to injury Tarseal or grass is better Remember if you miss a week training takes two to come back where you were -be consistent

  4. Running on sand is a good way to loose weight but it may not be so good for your ankles.

  5. Sand can make you a much stronger runner but can hurt you if you don't build up gradually.  There is a lot less resistance so it causes your ankles, foot muscles and such to work a lot harder.  Build up too quickly and you can tear your Achilles tendon or pull muscles.

4 miles is good.  When it gets too easy, just slowly build up.

I think 170-180lbs would be good for your height.  But weight doesn't matter as much.  It should be the inches and fat you're losing.  Athletes tend to weigh more (even when they look skinny) because of their dense muscle mass and low percentage of fat.

  6. Well normally you should at least weight 170 lbs since you tall. And as for as running on sand, just be careful not to burn your feet lol.

  7. yes, it is great for ur legs and muscles.  Running isnt great to lose weight though because of the sudden hunger u have alot after running.

  8. yes, it offers some Resistance, maybe like 170-180-ish
