  1. Well buddy if you think running one mile on the beach is good enough to get you into shape I hope to be playing against you.

Running on the beach is great, but not at the shoreline.  You need to run in the soft stuff to build up your leg muscles.  You should alternate running in the soft stuff for a good distance and sprint back in the hard stuff and do it all over again.

Don't forget you sit ups and push ups.  Leg lifts and chin ups and must if all don't forget the weight room.

Trust me, it is better to be in great shape than good shape.  You want to work on you endurance and reaction speed to get the first hit and not be hit.

Have a good vacation, but remember to put in some work if you're serious.

  2. yes it will help you its harder to run on sand be cause its not always flat. (it strengthens your legs mostly your ankles).

  3. You would be dumb not too. My first year of football i was in shape but didn't run at all before i did football. The first day after Conditioning I couldn't walk, and I'm not over exaggerating I seriously couldn't walk. My mussels were so tense but after the season I was in the best shape of my life.

  4. Absolutely. Running in sand is far more difficult than running on land so it is a great way to push yourself to the limit.

  5. One of the best ways I can think of

you can run longer on the beach

    better scenery

    breeze

you can get wet at any time

    do it man!
