  1. Running is not bad for the heart, but it puts more strain on the joints and body.

    You can get more exercise in less time running.

    Walking can be as effective as running as far as cardiovascular conditioning it just takes longer.


  2. you burn more calories running and get into shape quicker and will be more fit if you run. Walking puts less stress on the body and your joints. Its harder to get injured walking then running=] It depends on what you want to achieve to say which is better. I think running is soo much better, but thats just me=]
