Is saline solution thats made for "soft hydrophilic" contacts safe for soft disposable contacts?

  1. Yes it's fine.  The saline solution is formulated to match the natural tears you produce.  There will be no problem from using it.

  2. yes...it is safe.  Of course, if it's just "saline", it won't clean or disinfect the lenses.  Make sure you are using a cleaning/disinfecting solution as well.  Saline is really only for rinsing not storing.

    Never use saline for contact lens care!

    Just use products recommended by your ophthalmologist.

    Saline does not clean nor protect your lenses.

    If you don´t use the proper products your eyes will be in danger of contamination and get a corneal ulcer!!!!!
