The salmon are finnished doing their spawn and are running back to Huron. It's the same all over the Great Lakes. Good luck.

Around Erie PA up to the Salmon River in NY the fall run has  started.

Lake Erie is more known for Steelhead

Good baits are:

Single eggs on a #14 circle hook

Skein or egg sacks with a #14 gold trebble hook.

Minnows -live or dead on a #10 red circle hook.

Little Cleos -small blue/silver

Black Mini Foo with a maggot

Power Bait -Pink, Lime, Orange or Rainbow Sherbert on a #14 trebble hook

All with at least a 18" florocarbon leader
